Jim Kacena represents real estate purchasers, sellers and developers, as well as property owners of leased property, in a range of real estate matters, including acquisitions, 1031 exchanges, dispositions, structuring of transactions, construction, financing, leasing, zoning, land use, due diligence, title and survey reviews, property management and operational issues. He has extensive experience in all types of real estate matters, including office leases, industrial leases, retail leases, commercial and residential purchase transactions, loan financing transactions and real estate disputes. Jim negotiates and drafts agreements for the purchase, sale, and lease of real estate properties, the creation of easements and the use of development incentives. The firm also provides a full range of services for builders and developers, including subdivision planning and structuring, and guiding a project through zoning and land use boards. Jim also assists developers regarding their organizational structure, development management agreements, and construction agreements.
